House-System
The main idea of the House System in Tagore International Public School is to provide training in qualities of leadership, co-operation, mutual understanding and self reliance. Inculcate the feelings and interests in different type of activities such as of leadership, public speaking; organizational skills ,dramatics, elocution, quiz, recitation, debate, group song and dance , cultural activities etc.which are the part of academic excellence
The House system inculcates in the students the values of team spirit, commitment, loyalty, sharing and healthy competition. A student is urged to compete with themselves, raising their own excellence bar. Points are awarded to students throughout the year for co-curricular activities through Inter House competitions in sports, Debates, Quiz, Arts & Music and prizes/Trophies are awarded accordingly. At the end of the academic session, the house gaining the highest point is awarded the running trophy.
All the students of the school are divided into four 'Houses'. Each House has a House Captain & Vice captain including Four to ten member students. The House is supervised by House In charge and Deputy House In charge. It is mandatory for every student to be a member of any one House. Students are also trained in community service and social work through House System.
